Biography

She is now not the practice manager, so please remove her from this section, but keep her in the list of practitioners

My Why:
What I love most is that acupuncture lets me treat the whole person, not just the one thing that walked through the door. Someone might book in for pain, or stress, or sleep issues, but my job is to step back and look at what’s actually going on underneath it all. That moment when a patient tells me they’ve slept through the night for the first time in months, or that they finally feel like themselves again, is the bit that never gets old.

The Reassurance:
I’m a qualified acupuncturist (BAcC registered) and I run Aligned in Health across two clinics in Wallingford and Woodley. I’m a bit of a CPD magpie, always in the middle of training in something new, whether that’s sports acupuncture, women’s health and the menopause, or the gut-brain connection. That means you’re in the hands of someone who genuinely loves keeping her practice sharp. I’ve also got a real soft spot for auricular (ear) acupuncture and the deep calm it tends to bring people, often within minutes.

The Real Me:
Outside the clinic, I’m a complete bookworm, though “listener” is probably more honest these days, as I’m rarely without an audiobook on the go. I’ll happily lose a whole weekend to a sweeping family saga, a properly juicy romance, or a psychology memoir that makes me look at people a little differently.

Quick-fire:

  • Coffee/tea order: An extra-hot latte. If it arrives any cooler than that, it’ll be gone in seconds.
  • Favourite Sunday: A long dog walk, and a satisfying reset of the house for the week ahead.
